1. Placing an order
Placing an order on this site is done via the 'Add to Cart' and 'View Cart' buttons provided by the PayPal secure payment system. When you 'View' and 'Proceed to Checkout', you will be leaving this website and be directed to the PayPal website. You will then be asked for your PayPal account information (if you have one) or asked to select a method of payment to proceed with your transaction. Your credit/debit card details will be entered into PayPal's secure payment system and your transaction will be complete. You will then be re-directed back to our website where your transaction process will be confirmed.
NOTE: at no time do we, the seller, obtain your confidential payment information (credit/Debit card details). We will only obtain your contact and delivery information for dispatch purposes.
2. Payment
When your order has been processed you will receive an email from PayPal to inform you that your payment has been processed and the amount debited from your credit/debit card/PayPal account. You will then receive an email from The Glass-Wegian notifying you when your order has been dispatched and approximate delivery time. Our acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and us will only take place when we have dispatched the goods ordered by you. To cancel an order after it has been dispatched to you, you will need to follow our Returns Policy detailed below.
3. Delivery
We currently only dispatch orders within the UK, but if you to order an item or commission a piece for overseas delivery, please contact us directly to discuss.
All items are priced in UK STERLING£ only. We will use Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day service to dispatch your goods. The delivery charge for all items is £9.99, which will be added to your order at the PayPal checkout. This express delivery service guarantees safe delivery of valuable items to most areas of the UK, by 1pm next business day.
NOTE: To take advantage of the Next Day delivery, you order must be placed before 1pm. Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched within the following 24hrs. Orders placed over a weekend or holiday period will be dispatched on the next available working day.
We cannot accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party. As soon as you receive the goods, you assume full responsibility and risk for them. On receipt of goods, you may follow our Returns Policy below, if you are unhappy with the items received.
4. Refunds
If, for any reason you wish to return the goods purchased, you will be provided with a Returns Label with your order. Please return your items in the original packaging, stating your reason for doing so. On receipt of the returned item, the credit/debit card or PayPal account used to pay for the goods, will be refunded.
NOTE: Returns and refunds can only be issued if the goods are returned within 14 days of delivery.
5. Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel your order for any reason, before it has been dispatched, you should contact us either by email (sales@theglass-wegian.com) or by telephone (T: 01389 721443 M: 0779 527 0502). We will process a refund as soon as possible using the same payment method originally used, via PayPal's secure payment system.
6. Colours Disclaimer
Although we have tried to represent the colours of each item as truly as possible, some shades may vary slightly to the photographs due to the variety in monitor resolutions, changes during the digital imaging processes, etc.
Handmade glass objects, by the very nature of the production process means that no two pieces are ever identical. Bubbles, lines, slight surface changes or discolouration are characteristics of all handmade glass. They are not considered defects, and in fact, enhance the uniqueness of each piece.
