Wood/Glass Wallhanging
This project was constructed from a slice cutting of
a Yew tree. The natural shape of the cut section made
me think of a headboard. Cutting sections from the wood
I was able to insert a glass mirror in the middle and
two 6mm fused glass panels to either end. The two end
panels are lit internally by LED lights (Low voltage).
This makes an unusual one-off piece of art that would
look attractive hanging on chains from a wall or ceiling,
or alternatively could be adapted to be used as a headboard
for a double-sized bed.

Sunburst Mirror
This piece of art was made using cut pieces of decorative
glass laid in mosaic style and held together with a tinted
grout. This mirror can be hung either squarely or rotated
with either point facing down.
